Professional standards for our digital partnership.
All quotes provided by Fortis Computus Ltd are valid for 30 days. Prices are based on the project scope defined during the initial consultation. Any significant changes to the project requirements after work has commenced may result in a revised quotation.
We operate on a secure 50/50 payment structure. An initial deposit of 50% of the total project value is required to secure your development slot and begin work. This deposit is non-refundable. The final 50% balance is due immediately upon project completion and client sign-off, prior to the live deployment or transfer of assets.
Ongoing maintenance, hosting, and SaaS products are billed via recurring Direct Debit or automated card payment. These are billed in advance on a monthly basis. Fortis Computus Ltd reserves the right to suspend hosted services or API access if a subscription remains unpaid for more than 14 days.
Full ownership of bespoke source code is transferred to the client only upon receipt of the final 50% balance payment. We guarantee that if a client chooses to leave our service or cancel a subscription, they retain the right to export and keep their custom code and data, provided all accounts are settled in full.
The client is responsible for providing all necessary content, images, and API credentials required for the project. Delays in providing these assets will result in a shift of the estimated completion date. We are not liable for business losses resulting from such delays.
Clients may cancel a project at any time. However, the initial 50% deposit remains non-refundable to cover technical scoping and labor already performed. For subscription services, a 30-day notice period is required for cancellation.
Fortis Computus Ltd maintains the highest engineering standards but is not responsible for losses caused by third-party service outages (e.g., Google, AWS, or Cloudflare). Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service in question.
These terms and all service agreements are governed exclusively by the Laws of Scotland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish Courts.
